Not that long ago, my eyes were opened to a something that changed my life…. something that should have been obvious but … well, totally obscured my vision!  This one thing turned my life in a completely different direction!

So, what was this one pivotal, earth shattering thing?

Fear had been controlling my life, causing me to feel TRAPPED!

Oh, I know… that doesn’t sound so profound, but I know for a fact that many of you are controlled by fear!  The thing is, it’s so familiar that you probably aren’t fully aware of it or you don’t think you can do much about it.

Many people even justify fear… and given our world, it does seem like a reasonable reaction. But fear has too many negative consequences in our lives, and the truth is,

FEAR IS NOT OK and YOU CAN BE FREE!

(If I can, you can!!)

Now, please don’t hear finger pointing or accusation that something is wrong with you because you have fear controlling parts of your brain and thus, your life.  To do so would be adding fear to your life, and that is so not my deal.

But I do want you take a moment and consider…do I want and need to be free of fear?

If so (…and yes there are some of you who would rather hang on to it! You know who you are!), here is a simple, simple solution…. Something insanely easy that gets that your ship headed for another destination….

JUST SAY NO!

Honestly! When my eyes were open to the fact that fear was too much a part of my life, controlling my thoughts , choices, words, and hope, it dawned on me that I had the POWER to DRAW A LINE IN THE SAND and say, “I’m done!”

Draw a line in the sand and say, “I’m DONE!”

This is the first, and most important step you need to take. Try it! Stand up and say, “I’m done with fear controlling me!! Somehow, someway I am conquering this thing! I am made for a mighty purpose and fear is in my way! Stand down!”

Once you do, I’d love it if you submitted a comment, let me know how that felt, and be an encouragement to others!
